More details to follow with a sign up link. Thank you to all of our members and staff who have donated blood for Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.  According to The Blood Center, one unit of donated blood can save up to three lives. Collection will be at the HAA office, 4810 Westway Park Blvd, 77041.  If you can donate, that would be great.  If not, promoting the drive would be helpful.  When I have a date, I will reach out.

School Supply Drive

This year we will work with the Northwest Assistance Ministries group to help provide supplies to kids in the Aldine, Spring and Klein school districts.  Our volunteers would donate supplies and start in July with a deadline of early August. We will need help with donations and drop off of the supplies.

Camp Hope Volunteer Day - November

HAA volunteers will spend a day working on various small projects around the facility. The facility opened in 2012 and an interim housing facility, Camp Hope has a mission to bring hope and healing to vets who suffer from PTSD.  Vets attend group lessons and support sessions with other combat veterans. They are provided with individual mentoring sessions with certified combat trauma mentors. We will have another opportunity to help Camp Hope in November and will get you more info when we have it.
