Applications are currently being accepted for all credential programs. Grants are awarded on a first come, first-serve basis while funds remain available, so don't delay. Please read over the paperwork carefully and note all requirements and qualifications before submitting for consideration.
Did you know Education Grants are available for each designation program from the National Apartment Association? The Houston Apartment Association, through the grant fund made possible via a percentage of the revenue generated from the annual Education Conference and Expo, underwrites the professional development of its members by over $20,000 each year. Competition for these awards is based on financial need and a commitment to earning a professional credential.
The Houston Apartment Foundation will pay 50 percent of the total cost of any NAA credential program (CAM, CAS, CAPS, CAMT IROP, or NALP) for HAA members who need financial assistance, provided the following guidelines are met:
Individuals must successfully complete in full, a grant application that demonstrates financial need and a commitment to earning a professional designation. Applicants must be employed by an HAA member in good standing. A letter of recommendation from the applicant's sponsoring employer, including an original signature, is a required component of the application. Paperwork submitted without a recommendation letter will not be considered or retained on file. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
